Kroger agreed to a $17 million fund over claims it reported inflated usual and customary prescription prices by ignoring its Savings Club prices, which caused some insured customers to overpay. If you used insurance to pay any part of a prescription at a Kroger pharmacy between December 9, 2018 and August 23, 2026, you can file for a share sized by what you spent.
The claim deadline is December 21, 2026. Records are required only if you claim $8,000 or more, or if Kroger's data does not identify you. The case is 2:21-cv-00022 in the Southern District of Ohio, and Kroger denies wrongdoing.

How the payout amount is decided
After approved costs come out of $17 million, the administrator divides the rest among valid claims in proportion to each person's eligible prescription spending.
