FitOn agreed to a $2.5 million fund over claims it sent subscribers' viewing histories to Meta and other platforms without the consent the Video Privacy Protection Act requires. If you had a FitOn account and watched at least one prerecorded video between October 22, 2022 and May 29, 2026, you can file for up to $10.

The claim deadline is August 31, 2026. No proof is needed. Payment can come by PayPal, Venmo, or mailed check. The case is Hoffman v. FitOn, and FitOn denies wrongdoing.

Filing is free on the official site. Payout is a discovery app, not a law firm, and cannot guarantee a payment.

How the payout amount is decided

$10 is the cap. Fees and costs come out of $2.5 million, and the rest is spread across valid claims. If the number of claims pushes the per-person share under $10, everyone gets the smaller figure. This is a small check, and the PayPal or Venmo option exists so it does not get lost in the mail.

Who qualifies

  • You are a U.S. resident.
  • You held a FitOn account at some point between October 22, 2022 and May 29, 2026.
  • You watched at least one prerecorded video on the platform in that window.

When money arrives

The facts available do not give a final approval date. Money moves after court approval and any appeals following August 31, 2026. Electronic payments typically arrive faster than mailed checks once the administrator starts distributing.
