Sprouts Farmers Market agreed to a $5 million settlement in two consolidated cases, Tran v. Sprouts and Cohen v. Sprouts, over receipts that printed more than the last five digits of a card number, which federal law under FACTA forbids. Shoppers who paid by card between August 16, 2020 and October 31, 2022, or by EBT between March 15, 2021 and April 15, 2023, and got such a receipt could file.
