Shimano, Specialized, Trek and Giant settled In re Shimano Crankset Litigation, number 8:23-cv-02038-JVS-JDE, over Ultegra FC-6800, FC-R8000 and Dura-Ace FC-9000, FC-R9100 and FC-R9100-P cranksets built before July 2019 with production codes KF through RF that could delaminate and separate. There is no cash fund. Everyone gets an extended warranty through July 29, 2027 and free inspections at recall retailers. Riders who paid to replace a crankset before September 21, 2023, after their warranty ran out, could file for reimbursement.
